Marcus has been an amazing mentor and vocal instructor. From the very first day I started my vocal lessons with him, I could tell there was something different in his approach and his emphasis on certain exercises, especially the use of breath. His background in opera makes him very well rounded as a vocal artist and instructor. Marcus has given me so many different ways to train my voice and really pushes me to work on songs that I didn't think I had the vocal capacity for, but realized I did. My voice has grown tremendously and I feel I have gained so much vocal strength and expansion. Thank you for being such a gracious and understanding coach. You really care about all of your students and always provide performance opportunities which goes to show that this is not just a business but a passion. I would highly recommend Westlake Music Academy to anyone considering vocal training.

I've seen a higher level of confidence when they perform and genuinely enjoy participating in the concerts. Their rates are reasonable and they are so flexible when schedule conflicts arise. Marcus and Kristy are amazing. I have seen my daughter grow and get stronger as a singer. The talent of the teachers is amazing. We love the concerts, and shows the kids put on. This is where you would want your kids at if they are looking to grow in music.

My son has been taking music lessons with Westlake Music Academy for a year and I can't speak highly enough about their program! He takes drums and piano with Marcus and bass guitar with Colton. They are both amazing teachers who encourage a love of music while teaching the fundamentals. In addition to lessons they provide wonderful opportunities to perform live with other students in recitals and Battle of the Bands. We are so grateful we found Westlake Music Academy and would encourage anyone looking to learn and grow with music to join!

Singing is something I've always wanted to try but always felt like my voice wasn't good enough, and my horrible stage fright made it worse. After working with Marcus Klotz I finally started to find my voice and challenge that fright. I've sang 2 solos now when I never thought I would! I absolutely reccomend this music academy, these people are amazing to work with!

I have wanted to take drum lessons since I was a little kid. Marcus Klotz was vital in teaching me many different styles of drumming and helping me become confident in my playing. Definitely recommend Westlake Music Academy for anyone interested in learning an instrument!
